MAG 2000
Meeting your expectations and taking into account all observations of fitters, users and designers, FERRPOL Bracia Matuszewscy Spółka z o.o. in Rawicz in cooperation with ERMAG and ALKASTER companies designed and launched the production of an advanced signalling and shutting-off system intended to increase safety of gas equipment in gas systems using natural gas and LPG named:
INTEGRATED GAS SAFETY SYSTEM
The Integrated Gas Safety System is designed to measure concentration of explosive gases, i.e. methane, LPG and toxic gases (carbon oxide). Application of microprocessor technique made it possible to create an innovative protocol for data transmission between the system components. Application of this new transmission protocol reduced installation costs and increased system reliability.
One connection system “– D +” was used for an exchange and all peripheral devices. The system allows for connecting any system device to one feeder and communication cable (3 x 0.5 mm2), anywhere.
The system component devices can be connected in two configurations:
- “standard” configuration: each device is connected directly to the exchange;
- “tree topology” configuration: devices are connected one to another.
The “tree typology” seems to be the most favourable. In this configuration actual layout of devices in buildings is taken into account and system is branched off in a way allowing for using as few connecting cables as possible. In the case of very extended circuits this systems allows for making substantial savings as compared to the ”standard” system (each device connected directly to the exchange). The purchase cost of the Integrated Gas Safety System can be completely covered with made savings.
The System functions perfectly with MAG–2000 shut-off valves.
MAG–2000 quick-closing flap valves are straight-through shut-off valves with compact body protected by patent issued by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland. The valves are pulse-controlled, in emergency they operate automatically and immediately shut off gas supply. MAG–2000 valves can be opened only manually (intentionally!). Simple design and reliable operation accounts for the fact that MAG–2000 valves are covered with 2-year guarantee. The valve diameters range from DN 20 to DN 100 PN 6. They can be installed inside and outside the buildings.
The Integrated Gas Safety System protects life and health of employees and residents, as well as secures buildings, houses and expensive devices against damage.
It can be installed in large urban and industrial gas-fired boiler plant, public facilities, domestic gas central heating systems or pressure regulating and metering stations.
